How Can You Tell Me This? He Is The Biggest Fish I Have Caught- Special Prosecutor Tells Journalist
The Special Prosecutor, Agyenim Boateng, has made a controversial statement today which has gotten Ghanaians to massively react. After his assumption into the Office of the Special Prosecutor, many Ghanaians were expectant that he will begin investigating top allegations of corruption leveled against officials of the likes of Former President John Dramani Mahama, Kennedy Agyapong, and the likes.
However, his brave decision to prosecute the former Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority, Adjenim Boateng, made a journalist ask him the question which is obviously running through the minds of Ghanaians.
“One of the things which came up when you filed up this charge is to the effect that the big fishes are freely walking about whiles you are busy chasing the small fishes”, the journalist boldly asked.
This was the response of the Special Prosecutor.
“The PPA boss is a small fish? Unless you do not want to see it. This is because the Public Procurement Authority is the spirit of the nation when it comes to procurement in the public sector. And if you call the PPA boss a small fish, then there is no big fish in the country”
